Not only during the ITB BerlinDatum der Nachricht: 09.02.2011 Serviced Apartments revive managers that are tired of hotelsThe ITB Berlin 2011 is just around the corner. And more than 11.000 touristic exhibitors
will present their latest offers to the round about 180.000 guests, among them 111.000
trade visitors.
Berlin is well prepared for its guests. More than 102.000 hotel beds get prepared every single day. But no matter if for the big travel trade show or for one of the other around 90 fairs that take place in Berlin every year – More and more business travellers are interested to swop their regular hotel room for a serviced apartment. Also in this niche segment, Berlin offers a vast variety. As many as 1.100 metropolitan serviced apartments are for instance offered on www.apartmentservice.de, the biggest independent platform for serviced apartments in Germany. Besides a few big chains, it is mainly medium-sized houses that characterize the market. Trade shows are an ideal moment for managers that are tired of hotels to enjoy a serviced apartment. They can – maybe for the first time - savour the extra comfort and space that a serviced apartment offers. Moreover, serviced apartements are often less expensive than comparible hotel rooms. While these apartments where originally intended for long term stays, more than 90 percent of the houses are nowadays offering their services for short term stays of only a few nights as well. It´s no wonder that serviced apartments in Berlin and in other cities are prospering. Chances are good, to successfully implement individual and innovative niche concepts. By now, more than 18.000 serviced apartments are counted in Germany. Trend: upward. Domain/URL Newsletter: jetzt kostenlos anmelden : Diesen Artikel bookmarken: |
